Co-ordinator of the Santa Fe Jewish Book Council. He is an author and editor, and for the last decade he has been the Editor of Gaon Books. He has worked with best-selling authors and directed dozens of authors through successful completion of published works, many of which have become award-winning books.
He is a cultural anthropologist with a Ph.D. from Indiana University and postdoctoral studies at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies at the University of Oxford, U.K. He is a former University Vice-President and Dean of Academic Affairs, who also worked in South America for eighteen years with UNICEF, the Ford Foundation and other international agencies. Hart has written a dozen books on cultural history and social change. His most recent book is Judaism, a introduction to the history, cultures, and religion in Jewish life.
